Marca 2026: Innovation, Quality and a New Retail Pizza Concept Win Over Buyers and the Trade Press
Margherita S.p.A. closes the 2026 edition of Marca by BolognaFiere with highly significant results, standing out among the key players of the most recent edition that has just come to an end. The stand – jointly designed together with Propizza and Gusto Sorrento – recorded a steady flow of visitors throughout both days, becoming one of the most visited and appreciated areas of the exhibition.
This presence confirmed the role of the three companies as reference players for Retail and Private Label in the world of pizza, pinsa and pizza-based products, thanks to an offering that combines a broad assortment, strong manufacturing expertise and an authentic Italian vocation for the art of baking.
At the center of attention was the major new product presented by Margherita S.p.A.: Re Pomodoro ‘A Margherita Napulì, a pizza that expands the Re Pomodoro brand universe alongside the Gourmet Doppia Lievitazione and Ariosa ranges. A product that reinterprets one of the most iconic symbols of Italian cuisine in a contemporary way, fully aligned with the company’s vision: continuing to innovate in the frozen segment while enhancing quality, production know-how and respect for tradition.
Marca 2026 was also an opportunity to preview new chilled-counter references, including Pinsa Margherita and Pinsa Prosciutto, high-hydration, pre-topped products made with carefully selected ingredients, designed to combine convenience, quality and taste. These products impressed visitors, who were drawn not only by the offerings themselves but also by the overall project. The joint participation of Margherita, Propizza and Gusto Sorrento indeed introduced a shared exhibition layout, representing the first step of a common strategic path aimed at offering the market the widest Italian range of premium pizza products, also with a focus on customization and tailored solutions.
The visibility achieved during the trade fair was further amplified by strong attention from the trade press, which dedicated extensive coverage to the new products and to the joint project of the three centers of excellence. Numerous Italian and international buyers – from leading grocery chains to international retailers – also expressed strong interest in the new Napulì proposal and in the completeness of the range, highlighting its ability to meet the evolving needs of modern consumption without sacrificing authenticity.
